INGREDIENTS
2 cups Cerise Noir or Respect the Elder Wine from Tapped Apple
4 cups frozen cherries
2 tsp of Capizzanos Black Cherry Aged Balsamic Vinegar
1 cup of sugar
2 tbsp corn starch
Vanilla ice cream or gelato
DIRECTIONS
Combine 4 cups of frozen cherries, 1 cup of sugar and 2 tbsp of cornstarch in a saucepan over medium/high heat until sugar melts (about 1 minute).
Add 2 cups of Cerise Noir or Respect the Elder wine.
Bring to a boil and cook until slightly thickened (about 4 minutes).
Remove from heat and stir in 2 tsp of Caprizzano's Black Cherry Aged Balsamic Vinegar.
Let cool and serve over vanilla ice cream or gelato.
