Tapped Apple Cidery and Winery Triumphs at First Annual Rhode Worthy Cup

We are thrilled to share that Tapped Apple Cidery and Winery had a fantastic showing at the First Annual Rhode Worthy Cup. Judged on August 9, 2024, this event marked a significant moment in the state's brewing community, where top brewers from across Rhode Island competed for prestigious titles. Winners were announced at the Ocean State Brewers Festival on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Farm Fresh RI, and medals were awarded to the top brews in various categories. We are proud to announce that Tapped Apple Cidery and Winery not only took home multiple medals but also earned the esteemed title of “Rhode Worthy Cup Champion Brewery”.

Our Award-Winning Ciders

In the Traditional and Common Ciders category, our Gravenstein Hard Cider claimed the Gold Medal, showcasing the classic flavors that have made it a favorite among cider enthusiasts. Additionally, our First Bite Hard Cider secured the Bronze Medal, reinforcing our reputation for excellence in crafting traditional ciders.

We also shined in the Fruit and Specialty Ciders category, with our Brown Sugar Peach Hard Cider taking first place. The unique blend of sweet brown sugar and juicy peach flavors captivated the judges, earning it top honors. Our Blueberry Vanilla Hard Cider followed closely, winning second place with its delightful fusion of rich blueberries and smooth vanilla. Rounding out our victories, our Tap 37 Bourbon Barrel Aged Cider earned the Bronze Medal, celebrated for its complex and robust flavor profile.
