Pop off the beach and test your sommelier skills on several delicious wines and ciders. The servers at Tapped Apple are so kind and walk you through the best way to experience your flight. The menu lists the the wine and cider from dry to sweet and you should drink your flight the same way in order to most effectively taste the notes and undertones of each individual wine and cider. They are all delicious. The Cerise Noir and Apple Pie wine were my favorites. Another cool thing they offer is cocktails where they combine the wines and ciders. You can also create the cocktails within your flight if you order the wine and cider that goes in it. For example, if you decide to taste their Watch Hill Wine, Ginger Wine, and First Bite Cider in your flight, you can mix them on your own to create their Ginger Snap Spritzer cocktail or just taste them individually. Such a good idea. The Tapped Apple also offers housemade cola for the kids that’s epic and various charcuterie items. You must try the Hauser chocolate truffles. They’re made right in Westerly and perfectly complete the journey of your newly sophisticated palate that the Tapped Apple will take you on. The last thing I should mention is they give you a complimentary little wine glass with their logo on your way out. I’m so glad we decided to check this place."
